Dan is a native Victorian and as of 2007 is a partner in Pooley Co. Dan earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Texas A&M-Kingsville, has completed post graduate studies in marketing and managment, holds a certificate as Graduate of the Realtor Institute, and is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Dan has worked, since 1996, in various positions in marketing, sales, and management, and ultimately joined Pooley Co. in 2004. Dan is an active member of the Victoria Board of Realtors, the Calhoun County Board of Realtors, The Texas Association of Realtors, and The National Association of Realtors. In addition to being a member, Dan has served in various committees and positions to include the President Elect (2008) of the Calhoun County Board of Realtors and President of the TAMUK Alumni Association of Victoria. Dan has also been involved in The American Legion, Victoria Preservation Association, The Grievance Committee for the State Bar of Texas, coaching youth sports at the YMCA, leadership roles in 4H, and educational work with the youth at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
